EGLIPS Lively Lip Tattoo Cocktail #5 Review

Today, I’ll be reviewing the EGLIPS Lively Lip Tattoo Cocktail in the #5 Bloody Mary. I purchased this because it advertises high moisture and the pictures show more of a matte finish. This is the first time I’m actually trying a lip tint or any product from EGLIPS.

NOTICE: Lots of pictures uploaded.

I purchased this off of for $7.58USD (currently 30% off from $10.78USD). You can learn more about the product here. (This was the only English website I could search for with the translated info.)

First, let’s talk about the packaging.

It came in a nice silver mirrored package. Nothing special.

EGLIPS Lively Lip Tattoo Cocktail packaging

Plenty of time to use it.

Expiration on the bottom

I couldn’t find the ingredients listed on the package or online in English. (Can’t read Hangul very well.)

All sides of the box

Let’s see what’s inside.

Simple and sleek design

The bottle looks like glass, but it’s actually plastic and lightweight.

Swatch and dried

Well here goes.

As the instructions state, you should start off with a lip scrub to remove dead skin cells. Apply the product from the inside to outer areas without dabbing. Then, wait for it to completely dry for 20-30 mins. ๐Ÿ˜จ Ain’t nobody got time for that!

Lips clean and ready.
After only one coat

First Impression:

The product is very lightweight and has a faint sweet strawberry candy(?) scent. It dries fairly quickly and is quite mosturizing even without any gloss or chapstick. Just be sure to wipe off any excess from the brush before applying or you’ll end up with dark streaks in different spots. ๐Ÿ˜• It isn’t smudge-proof/resistant since it came off very, ย very slightly while testing with my finger. If you prefer a shine, you can just add a gloss. I personally love the matte finish.

Now, let’s fast-forward a little…well a lot. 8 hours to be exact.

8 hours later and still there.

Excuse the hot mess you see. (The lighting doesn’t help either.) It was a long day. ๐Ÿ˜ด Now, it’s bedtime.

After 8 hours of wear, the tint still stayed intact. I’ve eaten, drank, dabbed with a napkin, etc. and didn’t have to worry about it fading much. However, I did have to apply chapstick after about 6 or 7 hours later (notice the slight shine). The tint also started to settle into the lines a little bit. The product can be easily removed with cleansing oil/balm.

  • Lightweight & moisturizing
  • Reasonable pricing
  • Lasting wear time
  • No stickiness
  • Matte finish
  • Fast drying

  • Not smudge-proof/resistant
  • Settles into lines over time

Overall Impression:

It did pretty much as advertised. The price is on the steeper side for lip tints, but the lasting power is worth it. Would I purchase again? Yes. Great purchase. Loved it!

What’s your favorite lip tint?

Thanks for checking out my first review! Hope you guys enjoyed it.

Jolse Random Box Unboxing

Hello everyone.

I haven’t seen too many posts about the random box items from Jolse so I decided to share what’s in mine.

I’ve just made my 1st purchase off of They were having a random box special of their best-selling items which ranges from $19.98USD – $49.98USD. For the first 300 purchases they were giving out COSRX planners which I didn’t receive since I placed my order on the last day of the sale (Jan 10th). I chose the SkinFood Black Sugar Mask Wash off for $19.98USD.

Everything I received

Ordered on Jan 10th, shipped out on the 12th, and arrived on Jan 22nd. =)

Product purchased and random box items

Here’s what is included:

  • SkinFood Black Sugar Mask Wash off ($9.25USD)
  • COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser ($10.18USD)
  • COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch ($12.73USD)
  • Skin Watchers AC Clearing Essence ($18.84USD)
  • Skin Watchers Green Snail Intensive Cream ($12.99USD)

Totaling up to $63.99USD (current sale prices) for only $19.98USD including no shipping cost. How great is that?

With every order you also get samples.

Overall thought:

I like the idea of getting products from brands I haven’t tried before. Most of the products expire in late 2018. You definitely get your money’s worth. I loved that they included makeup samples instead of only skincare ones. I would purchase another if this sale pops up again.

What did you get in your box?
